my award winning tangerine 84 golf (around there i never knew exactly, i was just happy to have a car to drive) with german headlights and some other converted german stuff. LOL. all conversions done by dad's friend who owned this german auto shop so he swapped out all kind stuff on the golf. got the car for some ridiculous cheap price cause the wife was getting another bmw so he had to get rid of it. and being my dad's best friend got a good deal on um. of course at the time i had no clue what all that stuff was worth till decades later. Sad this award winning car won trophies like the pumpkin award. best spray paint racking mobile, hardest car for cut school with and many other great titles under it's belt. LOL. sorry no pics cause we had no cameras.

yup those were the days with only film cams.. no web.. all we had was mags to steal ideas from..

I think that is the reason that magazine are not doing as well as before.. people can just post pics of there cars for everyone to see.. I feature in a mag.. isnt so hype up as it used to be.. Before they only way people got to see your ride was through mags..

yup one of the reasons by 2000 i stopped documenting graffiti. web and digital cameras made documenting just another novelty.

No worry Drew, my Orange cover car used to be a brand new black civic, without plates yet, and while going towards the Kawaihae vs Waimea T-stop, I tried to go through the mountain full speed. I walked away with crack ribs from the seatbelt, lol.
