Just thought i post this here becuase many of you have kids.. and might want to take them to these events..

I know that we have a meeting on Sat.. but as you all know family first.. and many of you know that ELijah does Kung Fu and Lion Dance..

Friday we be marching in the parade through waikiki..

Friday-10-03-08, TIme:7pm. Waikiki to help draw attention to the public for the Splendor of China Event. We will be playing and escorting the 08 Narcissus court along with the 09 contestants down Kalakaua Ave.

This weeked is a bussy weekend for Elijah and his team..

sorry i wont be at the meetings becuase i have to work the booth at the
Spendor of china at the NBC on Sat.. and ellijah them will be performing the lion dance on the Jongs.. thats the ones that jump on the polls! Its amazing of you never saw it before.. below is what time theyll be performing.

Saturday-10-04-08, Time:7pm-7:30pm. Splendor Of China Event (Blaisdell Exhibition Hall) This performance we will be doing Jongs with 2 Lions. We were only allowed a 30min performance time frame unlike last years 1hr. Because of this we will not be doing Martial Arts demonstrations.

Also on sunday there the Childerns youth day at the state capitol where they be performing again. tis even has all kind of stuff for kids.

October 5, 08. Time:1pm. This is for Sassy & G Magazine (Children's Youth Day) at the State Capital.

So if your wondering where i am this weekend this is where ill be..

wow this saturday is our meet already? Days going by fast. I guess cuz putting together the car cruise and car show and now we have the meet. So much going on.

maui county fair from this thursday through sunday.

oct 2 to 5.

dept. of ag has a display of live illegal animals including a ball python, hissing roaches, etc.

might have to work on sunday.

this thursday 10/2 from 7 - 10 pm theres KPOI's so you think you can rock contest at DnB's. some pretty good stuff.

this thursday is the finals you can check out the top bands from all the previous weeks that performed.

Tommorow night look for us in Waikiki...

For the 7:00 pm start of the walk thru Wakiki, we will start from HAWN Moon @ Waikiki Beachwalk, go to Avanti Fashions, BOH area, Atlantis Seafood (go into their restaurant) and last stop is Seafood Village and Steakhouse in the Hyatt (possibly go into their restaurant)

My cousin had a lion dance at her wedding just this past August. I forgot what was the name of the guys who did it .. but they were good. Made me wanna run away .. Filipinos no more that kind tradition. LOL, she married to one chinese/japanese guy. Embarassed

Imagine being at the head table, and this big lion head is bobbing its head in front of you HAHAHAH, nightmares!!! I think thats the only thing that woke me up the whole day.

Hey Marshall...

One of my friends do the lion dance thingy with the kung fu guys. His name Mike Lee and the daughter too is invovled, her name is Mina. Do you know them? They always do it when get chinese stuff going on. Especially Chinese new year.
