Its that time of the year again.. One year went by so fast! and there has been alot of members that came to mind when having to choose the Memeber of the Year for 2007...

How it was decidied was by the SE Hawaii Leadership team... and the team voted on member they thought shoud be MOM 2007..

What we taken into concideration was Dedication, sportmanship, effort, and sprit.. member that went beyond the call.

and the member of the year is

KEPA!!!!

We thank you Kepa for your support and dedication. Members like you is what make SE what it is.

ON behalf of SE Hawaii Chapter we would like congradualte

KEPA

our 2007 Memeber of the year.

Kepa has been a member for over a year and from day one when he joined got invovled in mostly everything we did. Community Service, Meetings, Helping members out a shows. Even with his family he didcates as much of his family time with SE. WE wouldlike to include Hana and thank her for her support also. THis is what Ohana is about! and SE is one big Ohana!

Without dedicated members like Kepa inour club SE wouldnt be what we are today.

If i had my choice each and one of you deserve in your own way to be MOM's..

Like tele everyone that joins SE this is your club. IT belongs to you. You make the club what you want it to be.

This ends 2007 for SE Hawaii, with just HIN coming up lets go out a kick some butt this year!!!

thanks again kepa. for coming out to ever event, setting up, cleaning up even though most big shows you don't enter you there helping others get thru it. thanks again.

Like Marshall said, it was a hard decision especially with all of the hard working and dedicated members we have. But Kepa truly deserved this award for coming out to almost every meet whether his car was there or not. Even going to Maui! Great job Kepa!

Mahalo Nui...

like many people, we can never really find the right words to express how we feel when given such an honorable award. First and foremost, I'd like to thank the man above, for allowing our paths to intertwine, and for meeting such great "HAPPY" people. Also for influencing Marshall, to be come the best liason of all SE chapters, giving him the strength and knowledge to continue and strive for the best for SE HAWAII. I'd also like to thank everyone in SE HAWAII including the MAUI and BIG ISLAND, I've been blessed to have travel to both islands and meet with them. Locally, on O'ahu, I have found myself surrounded by friendly, funny and happy people. Always welcoming with a smile, "hello" and honi (for the wahines) and the local kine handshake, (for the braddas.)

I can't forget to give many thanks to my ohana especially to Hana and Ioane, for being the back bone to all that I do. Tagging along in the hot sun or getting up super early to get everything ready. I'd like to dedicate this award to them!

I'm very honored to have been choosen, more surprised then you can believe, but I hope that everyone strives to do their best, and do what they can, when they can. May we all be active participating members and roll models for the next generation, da keiki'z!

you thought you were surprised when your name was announced.

you should've seen Hana's face and her reaction. too bad i didn't get a pic of that. it was classic. and she started saying, "no way." she couldn't believe it either. lol.
